Napa Valley Film Festival Begins November 13th

Napa Valley Film Festival

The third annual Film Festival, November 13 - 17, 2013, is a valley-wide celebration filled with discovery of not only film, but also food and wine. NVFF features over 100 new independent films and studio sneak previews screening in 12 beautiful venues throughout four walkable villages; Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga.

Attendees are invited to partake in exclusive screenings, film and culinary panel discussions, wine tasting pavilions, and special events such as the Festival Gala, Celebrity Tributes and closing night Awards Ceremony. Three hundred visiting filmmakers interact with audiences at screenings and intimate events throughout the five-day celebration giving festival-goers the unique opportunity to interact with some of the industry's best. An up-and-coming Festival, the NVFF seamlessly blends the worlds of film, food and wine, acting as a cultural catalyst amidst America's premier wine country.

Past Festival highlights included the world premiere of the highly-regarded wine documentary Somm, screenings of Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut Quartet, Alexander Payne's The Descendants and David O. Russell's Silver Linings Playbook, as well as Celebrity Tributes honoring heralded actors Alan Cumming, Jeffrey Wright, Judy Greer and James Marsden, with “Rising Stars” Imogen Poots, Felicity Jones and Adam Driver. Beloved film critic and historian Leonard Maltin will host the 2013 Celebrity Tribute Program on Friday, November 15.
